Chapters 20-22 Summary

Chapter 20

At Johnny's next appointment, Mr. Briggs wants to clear the air and asks Johnny if he's gay. He thinks he will get an honest answer now that Johnny knows Mr. Briggs is gay. Johnny truthfully says he likes women. When Mr. Briggs asks Johnny about being a transvestite, Johnny says wearing a dress is new for him and he is still figuring it out. He points out there is nothing wrong with it, and it is not having a bad impact on his life.
