Summary

At 14, Jamie sat at the Russian Tea Room in New York City with his parents. Jean ordered a champagne cocktail for Jamie and herself. Earl took a vodka martini. Jamie had wanted to go to New York with his drama club on Easter-break but Jean talked him into going with her and Earl. Mama Jean had switched from real estate salesman to Wall Street stockbroker. She and Earl patched up their differences during her training in New York.
