The New York Institute

The New York Institute is a Shadowhunter headquarters and training facility located in New York City’s Upper East Side. The Institute serves as a place for residence, training, research, and other activities related to Shadowhunting. Jace and Isabelle are full-time residents at the Institute, while Clary merely trains there but lives at home. Clary also visits the Institute on several occasions merely to see Jace. The Institute is considered a safe and welcome place for the Shadowhunters.
