Summary

In Chapter 25, Cassandra arrives at the gallery and begins looking at the comic animal photography before realizing that Will is there. When she approaches him, she is horrified to see the woman she has been avoiding standing next to him. They publicly bicker about their past difference, when they lived together, and Cassandra notices Will’s discomfort with the interaction. Cassandra knows that “at some point what is done cannot be undone” however she still has some agency (230). She resets time so she is back in the office and texts Will, apologizing that she cannot make it to the gallery. In Chapter 26, Cassandra goes home after work and goes to bed. However, she is awoken by a knocking at her door. When she opens it, Derek drunkenly pushes into her room, making sleazy insinuations while claiming that he is just being friendly...
