Summary

In Chapter 9, Cassandra wants to use her newly discovered power to go back in time and prevent her parents from dying in a car crash. However, as she crouches in the doorway of Bar Humbug, a disgruntled bartender asks her to move since she is disquieting patrons. Cassandra revisits the day she met Will in a café. She believes that if she replays their relationship, she can fix the things that went wrong. In Chapter 10, in the coffee shop, the protagonist attempts to recreate her response when he asks to sit at the table. Cassandra resets the scene until she gets her wording correct and he sits next to her. They chat as they did in the past, but she is surprised when he goes off script.
