Chapters 26-30 Summary

In chapter 26 Richard arrives to speak with Anita. He is angry, still hurt over her turning to Jean Claude after he had turned into a werewolf and had killed and eaten Marcus and Raina. Anita had wanted him to kill them to save himself, but could not get over him changing shape and eating them. Richard tells Anita that he is there to help her, that Jean Claude had know he was coming. Anita is not happy, and Richard tells Anita that she should know that she cannot trust the vampire.

In chapter 27 Anita, Richard, Zane and Cherry drive to the Circus. Anita is not happy that Richard has forced Cherry to come with them, but Richard says he is Ulfric, or pack leader, and Cherry had left pack members behind, which is against pack law. The two argue and Anita...
