Summary

As an adult, Leila prepares to marry a millionaire whom she met while she was waitressing. At her restaurant, Leila had a habit of showing off the callouses on her feet, which she has carefully trained to be able to walk across hot coals, and on the night before her wedding she finds herself contemplating her feet. Although she lives a rich life with the millionaire, she realizes she does not want to marry him. She schedules their wedding in Florida so that she can go watch a motivational speech being given by the lake boy. When she and her sister, Kayla, arrive at the hotel where the speech is being given, the lake boy’s followers explain that he may not appear since he only shows up when he knows he will be able to speak absolute truth.
