John Wilkes Booth

John is one of the middle Booth children, and he is marked by his precociousness and his knack for adventure. From a young age, he is fascinated by swordplay and honor. Though in some respects he takes after his father in his desire to become a stage actor, and is the favorite child of his mother, he grows into the black sheep of the family when he begins to support the South in the years leading up to the American Civil War.
