Chapters 11-15 Summary

Chapter 11. Garrett has found a pencil and begins leaving notes for Sarah in the lunch room. Sarah comes off somewhat suicidal in the notes. Paul tells Garrett that he wants to go to Canada when they escape because they cannot get them there. Then Paul tells Garrett that Sarah is in on the plan too. After learning this, Garrett learns in the notes that Sarah hopes Garrett will go along with them. At Circle some time later, Joe pushes Garrett to talk about Sabrina. To make Joe think he is trying to conform, Garrett talks about her, but is pushed too far when the other inmates begin to taunt him with the idea that Sabrina has moved on. The only one to show Garrett any sympathy is Sarah in their notes. Sometime later, Joe is pushing a new girl in Circle...
