Chapters 1-5 Summary

Chapter 1. Garrett is traveling in a car with two bounty hunters, Harry and Rebecca. Garrett was taken from his home and transported to upstate New York. Garrett has no clue where he is going, but guesses it has something to do with trouble he has been having with his parents recently. Garrett asks that his handcuffs be loosened, but Harry claims that Garrett is trying to manipulate them into helping him get away. For this reason, Harry has no sympathy for Garrett and warns Rebecca not to either.

Chapter 2. Garrett arrives at the camp where he is led into a small windowless room where he is told to stand beside a cot. Garrett expects to receive new orders quickly, but he ends up standing for several hours. Finally a man comes into the room with clothing and tells Garrett to strip...
