Chapter 16-20 Summary

In chapter 16 Stacey manages to sleep well after her conversation with her mother. For the first time since quite some time she has no nightmares, although now she would want them. She decides to pretend that she is sick and stay in bed. Her friends, Amber and Drea go to classes. Despite all tools that she uses she is unable to fall asleep. When their friends come back she convinces them to inform campus police about what happened. In the meantime, she is trying to take bath to fall asleep as her own grandmother also suggested. She dips the sponge and pours the water over her neck and shoulders, lisetning to a CD.

Stacey thinks that Maura's death could also cause some damage to her soul, where part of her died. She is afraid that if she is going to fail...
