Chapter 27 Summary

In Chapter 27, Sydney visits Adrian at Keith's old apartment. Adrian has redecorated the entire apartment. Abe Mazur arrives with Jill's new roommate, Angeline Dawes. Abe admits that the reason he wanted Adrian to stay and live with Clarence is because Abe suspected that Clarence was selling his blood. Abe says he had no idea that Keith was involved though. Sydney reveals to the reader that she made a deal with Abe Mazur to fake a Strigoi attack on Keith for revenge for raping Carly, and now Abe held this over her head as blackmail. Two Moroi that had been turned Strigoi show up to work with Adrian on the experiment.
