Summary

In “G,” what Beatrice likes best about taking G is the “sensation of invisibility” that happens at the beginning (49). It is different than “being bodiless,” but she imagines “it comes close” (49). After taking G, one should remove their makeup, clothes, and personal items as they will soon dematerialize.

On Beatrice’s “last night in New York,” she visited her best friend, Bonnie (51). Beatrice was leaving for California the next morning, but Bonnie insisted they do G together to commemorate her last night. Beatrice and Bonnie had grown up and attended college together. Bonnie still lived in the same apartment.
