Summary

Chapter 15 opens with Harper continuing to tell Rita about his past. Rita is confused as to why Harper believes he is danger and he reminds her that he broke a client’s confidentiality. He blames his age and Rita disagrees, but Harper knows he is old in his line of work. Rita tells him it will be okay and Harper wonders if he is wrong about someone coming to kill him. Rita tells Harper that she has a son that she was hospitalized with mental problems after he was born. Rita’s ex-husband and his current wife raised the boy, but Rita still misses him. She asks Harper is he has children and he tells her no. She reminds Harper that he still has not told her the really bad part of his life because she knew he was skipping parts.
