Moment of Truth Summary

Very annoyed with wearing clothes, King Laurent attends a quick conference with Queen Eleanor in which he is given several mementos from the Village and the Palace. He rushes homes, arriving in two days. He organizes everything that has gone astray since his father's death. He punishes crimes and rewards services, proving himself the powerful monarch the kingdom desperately needs. After the hectic first several weeks conclude, he realizes that he misses being a slave but, as Lexius would say, it is not his destiny. Laurent loves being king. His advisors approach him one day to suggest that he marry and reproduce immediately in order to insure succession to the throne. He agrees and asks who the eligible princesses are, but before he can receive a response, he suggests Princess Beauty. His advisors agree that she is the best choice but she refuses...
