Marian the Librarian; Hallow E'en; The Writing on the Wall Summary

"Marian the Librarian" takes place on October 13. Ethan is in the hallway near his father's study when the door unlocks on its own. He wants to go inside to look through his mother's research for clues about Lena's situation and Ethan Carter Wate but he's not allowed inside. When the door opens, he sees the opportunity but Amma stops him. Ethan has never been in the back room of the library where his mother did research with Marian until now. He discovers among her things a picture of the painting of the woman at Ravenwood who Marian says is named Genevieve Duchannes.
