Summary

In Chapter 17, Kyoshi and Nyahitha rush down the mountain to tell everyone what was happening. Rangi, Hei-Ran and Jinpa arrive just as the leaders of the Saowon clan advance towards the Keohso. Rangi attacks Koulin to defend her mother. Kyoshi searches for Hei-Ran and finds her with Yun. Yun holds a dagger against Hei-Ran’s neck and Kyoshi tries to pull it away using earthbending. Yun is too powerful and sinks the dagger into Hei-Ran’s neck.

In Chapter 18, Hei-Ran is fighting for her life. She summons a ball of fire and slams it into Yun. Yun barely breaks away and Kyoshi tries to stop Hei-Ran’s bleeding. She grabs Hei-Ran, saving her life and letting Yun escape. Atuat is able to heal Hei-Ran. They sit at a noodle shop and Hei-Ran brings Kyoshi a bowl of noodles, telling her that she thinks...
