The envelope arrives by courier from Marcy Meriwether. The courier won't hand the package to Lydia, but only to Alexander. He also requires Alexander to show him a photo identification before handing him the packet. When Alexander opens the package, he finds news articles and sheaves of paper about Axel Vander, who seems to be a critic. Alexander thinks Cass might have mentioned this man to him before because the name seems familiar. Marcy calls to verify his receipt of the information and to let him know she's sending a scout to visit with Alexander.
