Summary

In Chapter 11, Celine drives Red to school. The town is very small, so all grades are housed in the same building. Celine is upset when they pull up, and she realizes that she forgot it was costume day. Now Red will have to be both the new girl and the only one not in a costume. Red feels a breeze in her bones as she considers entering the school.

In Chapter 12, the teacher, Ms. Bell, asks Red to tell the class three things about herself. Red’s skin is described as humming. She sits at her desk, and pages start blowing. A girl gets up to close the window, but the breeze continues. Red remembers that her therapist says to control her breathing. He calls this resetting.
