Summary

All Grown Up:

In 1988, Andrea is twelve and overhears her mother complain about her father, who is a part-time sous chef, a drug addict, and jazz enthusiast. His lack of schedule makes it difficult for Evelyn to keep track of him, so Andrea decides to follow him one day instead of going to school. She wears all black, following him to West 4th Street. He enters a townhouse, and after a while, knocks on the door because it is cold and she needs to pee. A man opens the door, and she tells him she is looking for her father, recognizing that he is an actor who co-starred in an animated movie trilogy she saw once. The actor is flustered and they go inside, hearing a crashing sound. Andrea's father breaks a lamp in a kitchen with drug equipment around...
