The Apartment, Andrea, Indigo Gets Married

The Apartment:

Andrea explains her life in second-person narration, seemingly talking to herself. After dropping out of art school, she moves back to New York, but without any sense of ambition. She stays with her brother and his girlfriend for a while and gets a job with the help of the girlfriend, and gets a cheap loft in Brooklyn with a view of the Empire State Building. She also secretly continues her art, though restricting herself to drawing the same view from her window every day. She does this for six years, doing well enough at her job while also witnessing people around her change, have children, and start families.
