Ponder

Ponder is a remote town in Alaska where Palmer has lived all of his life. Josie visits Ponder when she gets a summer job as the chef at Caribou Lake Lodge. Even though Josie is afraid that she will not be able to have a fulfilling career in Ponder after she marries Palmer, Josie starts a food blog based on ingredients native to Alaska.

Caribou Lake Lodge

Caribou Lake Lodge is the place where Josie works her first season in Ponder. After she and Palmer get married, Josie returns to the job of working as the chef at the lodge.
