Summary

In Chapter 11, narrated by Palmer, Palmer became even more jealous of Anton when Jack told him that Chef Anton had mentioned Josie in a YouTube video. He had sensed from the beginning that Chef Anton wanted a romantic relationship with Josie and believed what he was seeing on social media proved that Anton was pursuing that relationship. He received text messages from Josie but sent only short answers. He put off talking to Josie so he could plan how he to handle the situation.

Palmer finished the commissioned Civil War era sword and decided he would take Josie’s suggestion and hand deliver it. Because his flight would require a layover in Seattle, Palmer could visit Josie.
