Partners through Night of the Living Waterfowl Summary

In "Partners," there are science experiments that require partners and Tad moves off to a different partner so that Lindsey and Jeffery are partners. Jeffery enjoys it immensely though he says he has trouble concentrating on anything other than Lindsey. Later, Tad and Jeffery are in gym class and Tad becomes angry. He asks Jeffery to guess why he quit walking completely and points out that a girl in their class, Brianna Slack, had teased him about his limp. Jeffery points out Tad had called her "Zitzilla" and Tad says he'd only called her a name after she'd teased him. Tad reveals that he'd liked Brianna and that's why her teasing had hurt so much.
