Summary

Chapter 3.1 shifts ahead a few more years. Willem is now a film actor and has become somewhat famous after appearing in an action blockbuster. He sometimes worries that his acting is not truly adding any value to the world, but Jude assures him that it is. The condition of Jude’s legs has continued to deteriorate, and he now often needs to use a wheelchair. Lately, Jude, Willem, JB, and Malcolm have all become busier with their careers and have fewer chances to see each other. JB is a professional artist, and Malcolm is a professional architect.
