Glasses

Glasses are a symbol of masked identity. Both Kathryn and Elizabeth use glasses to mask their identity. Kathryn wears a pair of glasses that are too big for her face so that no one will notice how much she looks like her mother. Elizabeth wears dark glasses because she has led people to believe that she is unable to see. Dark glasses are a symbol of blindness.
