Summary

Brad’s anger over receiving Valerie’s lawsuit. She reveals that Brad said awful things about Valerie, calling her an “opportunistic bitch” trying to steal his money (189). Juniper says she is sad that Brad revealed his true nature. They agree their parents’ issues have nothing to do with them. They make plans for Juniper to graduate early and join Xavier in San Francisco.

In Chapter 30, Julia feels betrayed by Valerie’s lawsuit. Brad tells Julia he will find a way to get Valerie to drop the case, which worries Julia, who thinks Valerie’s lawsuit is valid.
