Love

Love is a major theme in this oftentimes humorous, while still dramatic novel. Many of the actions of the main characters are motivated by a need for love in their lives. Morgan Leafy has never really experienced true love in his life and he's searching for it with Priscilla Fanshawe. He is also pursuing it with Celia Adekunle, not realizing yet that she is using him. Morgan in fact thinks about Priscilla being the woman he has always desired in his life. He further believed at one point that Celia was the only person who ever truly loved him for who he really was. Later she proves him wrong, but regardless, Morgan Leafy is searching for love.
