Chapter 11

Morgan goes to the airport to pick up the "new man," Richard Dalmire. Morgan takes Dalmire to meet the Fanshawe's. Morgan has been steering clear of the family since his embarrassing incident with Priscilla. At the meeting with the Fanshawe's, Priscilla is friendly to Morgan and Mr. Fanshawe is affable. Mrs. Fanshawe is icily polite to Morgan. Morgan ends up alone with Priscilla. She doesn't want to talk about the incident at Morgan's place where she wanted to pursue the physical side of their relationship and he rebuffed her.
