Hut

After Nello's mother passes away, he is sent to a small village where his grandfather lives in a little hut. Together, Nello and Jehan live in the hut for many years with their beloved dog, Patrasche, who helps keep them inside the hut by pulling a cart into Antwerp every day, so they have money to afford their bills. After Jehan passes away and Baas Cogez spreads a rumor about Nello starting a fire in his mill, Nello and Patrasche are kicked out of the hut by the cobbler who owns it.
