Chapter 45, Tyrion Summary

Tyrion Lannister meets with Ser Lancel, his informer. Lancel tells him Cersei will have Tommen hidden away at Rosby to keep him safe from the citizens and from Tyrion. Tyrion is surprised Varys didn't know about this. Tyrion promises to give Lancel a command in the next battle. Later that night, Tyrion talks to Bronn and sets up an ambush to get his men at Rosby to protect Tommen when he arrives. This way, Tommen will still be safe, but under Tyrion's control. Tyrion has enacted a curfew, which makes the people mad, but Tyrion believes it will stop the rioting. The penalty for not obeying the curfew is death. Tyrion goes to visit Shae, but instead of using the tunnel in the brothel, he goes straight to the house where she is staying. He finds Shae is being sung to...
