Summary

The third story in the book is titled “This Little Light of Mine, I’m Going to Let It Shine” (35), and it is written by Blitzen, a dwarf who is friends with Amir. The story is set in Nidavellir, the home of the dwarves. The story begins with Blitzen fleeing from Junior, “an angry dwarf in a jet-propelled wheelchair” (35). During the pursuit, Junior crashed into a forge, giving Blitzen time to escape through the alleyways. Blitzen found temporary sanctuary in a dingy tavern with “pachinko” (37) machines.

While trying to get directions from a stubborn bartender, one of Junior’s employees entered the bar. Junior’s henchman found Blitzen and took him to a back room. There was a decapitated head in the fish tank, and Blitzen recognized it as “Mimir” (39), an ancient god. Mimir tasked Blitzen with discreetly stopping an assassination...
