Summary

In Chapter 7, on Jake’s second day in Derry, he visited W.T. Grant’s and discovered that Harry’s father was a butcher there. Jake sat on a bench outside the store and waited for Frank to get off work. He followed the man to the boarding house where he lived. As the people there greeted Frank happily, Jake knew that regardless of what lay under the surface, people admired Frank and liked him because he was so charming. That night Jake thought about the options he had to save Frank’s family. He came to the conclusion that the only good option was to kill him.
