Summary

The next morning, Finn awakens with fire ants crawling all over him so he gets up as soon as he can and strips his clothes off, jumping around trying to get relief from the insects. When Finn arrives home, he tells his parents the truth about where he was last night and where he has been all night. His parents are furious and his stepmother makes him soak in a bath and gives him antihistamines that make him sleep all day. That evening, Finn's father wakes him to see how he is feeling and how the ant bites are.
