The Psychopath in History

Using Dr. Hare's checklist, try to establish whether an individual in history such as Hitler or Stalin meets the requirements to be labeled a psychopath. Use facts from the person's life to validate your hypothesis.

The Psychopath in Literature

Using Dr. Hare's checklist, select a fictional character such as Hannibal Lecter or Dickens' Fagin and try to establish whether that character meets the requirements for psychopathy. Remember that psychopaths are not delusional and do not suffer from mental illness, so such characteristics would disqualify your character.
