· In “Sunday,” the third-person narrator describes how an unnamed woman makes her way to the infinity pool in the rain near dawn.
· As she starts to go down the steps into the pool, she notices someone in the water, floating.
· She jumps into the pool near the figure and discovers it is a man.
· He is wearing a suit, leather shoes, gold cuff links, and a bedraggled white flower on his lapel.
· As she pulls him toward the side of the pool, she realizes he is dead.
· She screams for help.
· When no one comes, she races to the Main House.
· She realizes he is “Gone” and she thinks, “Not again” (3).
· In “Friday, Two Days Earlier,” the narrator returns to the past.
