1. If you were Jill, how would you handle the confrontation with the school bullies?

If I was Jill, I would handle bullying by trying to talk calmly to the bullies. If that didn't work, I would report the bullies to an adult that I trusted, since the bullies would be unlikely to stop bullying on their own.

2. At first Jill thinks that Eustace might be on the side of the bullies. Eustace tells Jill that he is different since a strange adventure he went on with his cousins. Do you think, in real life, that bullies can be changed by having a certain experience?

Yes, I do think it's possible for an experience to change a bully's attitude. I believe that everyone's actions are, in some way, altered by their life experiences. If someone used to be a bully, as Eustace was, I believe that they can change their behavior, particularly if they are ever bullied themselves.
