Chapter Titles

Each chapter in this book has a very specific title. Split the class into groups and assign each group one of the chapters from the book. Have each group create a title page that shows the right feeling and content of the chapter.

Family Crests

Have the students choose one of the families from the book and create a family crest or flag that best shows what their family stood for, and what their actions showed about them.

The Soul of the Classroom

Dress up like Virlomi did when she declared herself the Soul of India. Have the students come to you one at a time and ask a question, or have the students write questions down and put them in a box. Answer these questions as if you were Virlomi with the idea that she was a Goddess.
