Lead the class in a discussion about transitions. Have the students offer examples of transitions through which they have managed. What coping mechanisms did they use? What worked? What didn't work? What advice would they give to others who are in a state of flux in their own lives? Is there any way to prepare for a major change, especially if it is expected? How about unexpected transitions? What life lessons can come from changes?
