Mapping

Maps are very important, especially to the beginning of the novel. It is because of a map that Birle reveals that she can read. There is no exact description of the map her grandparents show her and the one Orien has, but based off of the description that there is plus dialogue and other text in the book, create your own map of the Kingdom and where you think different areas are in relation to one another.

Last presence

In Chapter 9, Orien scratches his and Birle's name (misspelled) onto rock as proof of their having been in that location.
