Bulletin Board

Fill up a bulletin board or part of one with a display based on the book. Everyone in the class has to contribute something - a picture, words, map, etc.

Skit Time

Group the students and have them create short skits based on different anecdotes from the book and then present them.

True or False Game

Split the class into 2-4 teams and have them create a set number of questions that can only be answered by True or False. The questions are turned into the teacher, who then does a rapid-fire asking of all the questions, picking them in random order. The team that gets the most correct answers wins.

Ball Game

Toss a soft ball to a random student. The student then asks the other students questions about a specific incident in the book (the students will have prepared these beforehand). Whoever answers correctly...
