The Ancient Romans created many different types of coins. Research images of Roman coins of the period. Create a collage showing the various coins, especially those that depict characters from this novel.

Time and Place

Saturnalia

The Ancient Romans held a yearly festival called the Saturnalia, in which masters were bossed about by their slaves, men wore dresses and women dressed as men--so that all the social hierarchy was turned upside down.
