Janie's memory is then triggered, and Janie remembers being a young child playing outside in a dress, the same dress that they girl is wearing in the picture. After reviewing these things quickly, Janie thinks that she is the girl in the photograph.

Janie wishes that Reeve asks her out because she likes him and she never has a boyfriend. Janie feels that it does not matter if Reeve asks her out or not because she is not allowed to date. She wonders when her parents allow her to date.
