Essay Topic 1
At the end of the year, Greg and Rowley get into a fight that some teenagers end up egging on, which leads Rowley to eat the dreaded Cheese. Greg ends up telling the teenagers he is allergic, so that he does not have to eat it. Why does Greg allow Rowley to take the punishment, and how does Greg try to make himself look better, even though he clearly chickens out at the time of the fight?

Greg throws a football at Rowley during a game, and it breaks his hand. Rowley gets a cast and everyone at school wants to help him. Why does Greg think it is unfair that Rowley gets the attention he does?
