November comes, and Greg's Phys Ed teacher, Mr. Underwood, announces that the students will be starting a wrestling. Greg is disappointed, because he is a small kid for his age and knows nothing about wrestling. What embarrassments does Greg come into contact with and how does he respond to them?

Rowley befriends a new kid, Collin Lee, from school and starts spending a lot of time with him. Greg becomes jealous of this relationship and tries to make Rowley jealous by hanging out with Fregley, a nerdy kid from school.
