This book is the fourth in the series A Court of Thorns and Roses.
The novel is told from the viewpoint of five different characters--Feyre, Rhysand, Mor, Cassian, and Nesta.
Chapter 1 is told from Feyre’s point of view using the first-person point of view.
She notices it is snowing as she eats her breakfast.
She wonders where her mate, Rhysand, is, as he was not in bed when she woke.
She used to dread snow and brutal winters.
It was a long, terrible winter that brought her into the woods two years ago and made her desperate enough to kill a wolf.
That act led her to the life she now lives and to happiness.
