The Nightmare is the one with darkness, wind, and screaming. It is the nightmare where he is holding hands and the hands always slip from his grasp no matter how hard he tries to hold on.

Just after midnight, Conor hears someone calling his name. It is not a voice he recognizes. Then he hears the sound of creaking wood outside. When he looks outside, he sees the giant yew in the graveyard. Then he sees the yew tree in his yard. As he watches, the tree transforms into a monster.

When Conor tells the monster to come and get him, The monster asks him what he said. Conor repeats himself. Then the monster roars and pounds two fists against the house.
