Summary

Chapter 17

Morgan wakes in a cement encased room with Summer and Biji. Summer and Biji cannot use their magic because of the cement, but Morgan uses hers to free them of their restraints. Summer offers hope by saying the Decker can track Dark Witchlings and Beck Light. The girls search for an exit and find one. While they are trying to cross a rotted section of floor, Morgan falls and breaks her leg. Noah brings her back upstairs and tells her no one meant her harm, but he is surprised to learn that Alexa had Tasered her. Biji has gotten away. Summer and Morgan try to convince Noah that Dawn wants to kill them.

Beck wakes after his mother and Decker use their fire magic to reverse the effects of the soul stone. Decker tells Beck that Morgan tried to kill him...
