Chapter 28 Summary

Keyes carries Garcia back to the car and drives frantically to the hospital. When he arrives Garcia has passed out and is rushed immediately into surgery.

Keyes goes back to the Shivers house where he gets a lecture from Reed shivers about leaving his daughter. When Kara Lynn walks in and realizes what actually happened and why Keyes is bloodstained, she gives him a big hug in front of her father. He walks away somewhat concerned about the closeness of the hug his daughter has given to Keyes.

Garcia is questioned by the police.....
