Chapter 26 Summary

All the tourists from the liner are saved, but the helicopter went down hard and there are no survivors. Later at a press conference in the chamber of commerce office, the facts are provided as far as they are known. It is assumed that Wiley, Viceroy, and Tigertail went down with the helicopter, but there is no word where Bernal might be, but the Orange Bowl Committee does not pursue that question, wanting to let everyone assume the entire group is gone for good.
