Katherine’s home

The majority of the book takes place in the home that Katherine purchased in Washington. Kate moves into the house early on in the book and she spends weeks there learning how to use the CHRONOS medallion. Katherine’s home is protected by other CHRONOS medallions and contains the collected journals and knowledge that Katherine was able to get from the other surviving historians.

Metro

Kate frequently travels on the metro at the start of the book. She first explores the diary when she’s on the metro. Simon was watching her and the next day ambushes her and steals the journal from her.

Briar Hill

Briar Hill is the school that Kate attends and also where her father works. They live in a small house located on the school grounds.

When the timeline changes, Kate goes to Delaware with Trey because they find out...
